Biography

Abdullah is a Lecturer at Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute (GIKI), Pakistan in the Department of Materials Engineering. He completed his MS degree from GIKI in Nanotechnology and Materials Engineering with a research project on Artificial Neural Network based prediction of residual stresses of magnetron sputtered TiN coatings. His areas of expertise are Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD), RF and DC Magnetron Sputtering, thin film characterization, surface engineering, machine learning application to materials science and statistical optimization techniques. His research articles have been published in the areas of residual stress prediction in transition metal nitride coatings and advanced energy storage materials. He currently focuses on research on AI-aided materials design, coatings, and advanced characterization methodologies.
